Inventory software for retail stores: every branch's stock on one screen
With one store, stock is on the shelves where you can see it. Open a second or third branch and "is this in stock at the other store?" gets asked dozens of times a day. In StokTakip each branch is a warehouse, so you see how many of each product every branch has on one screen.
Familiar problems for multi-branch stores
What's at which branch?
Calling the other branch whenever a customer asks for something keeps the customer waiting and takes up staff time.
Moving goods between branches
Parcels between branches are tracked in a notebook or a chat app; items on the road are counted at neither branch, or at both.
Empty here, full there
One branch runs out while the same product sits for months at another, and you only notice at the end-of-period count.
Many hands on the stock
Branch managers, warehouse staff and sales staff all use the same system; when nobody knows who changed what, mistakes turn into arguments.
Key features for retail
What you'll need to see stock across branches, send goods between them and manage the team; each feature has its own page with details.
Multi-warehouse management
Set up each branch and the central warehouse as separate warehouses; see stock per warehouse, divide warehouses into zones and watch their capacity.
See the featureStock alerts
Give products a minimum stock level; alerts are created on their own when a product's total stock drops below it or runs out.
See the featurePermissions and approvals
Give branch staff roles that fit their jobs, and route critical actions such as stock adjustments and price changes through a manager's approval.
See the featureReports
Follow best sellers, the order fulfilment rate per warehouse and stock value by category.
See the featureOrder tracking
Record sales as orders that take stock from the branch you choose; a cancelled order puts the stock back.

Example: restocking a branch from the central warehouse
A typical day at a home textiles store with three branches and a central warehouse:
Check branch stock
The Kadıköy branch reports a bedding set running low on the shelf. On the product page you check stock per warehouse and see the central warehouse has enough.
Create a transfer
Open a transfer from the central warehouse to the Kadıköy branch and add the items and quantities. It starts as pending.
Mark it on the way
When the parcel leaves, mark the transfer in transit so the team can see where it is.
Confirm delivery
When the branch receives it, the transfer is marked delivered; stock leaves the central warehouse and is added to the branch.
Watch total stock
When a product's total stock across all branches drops below its minimum, an alert is created. That's your cue to reorder from the supplier.
Recommended plan: Professional
For stores with a few branches and a central warehouse, the Professional plan fits: set up each branch and the central warehouse as their own warehouses and track stock in each one separately. As you open more branches, the Enterprise plan removes the warehouse limit.
Professional
TRY 749/ mo + VAT
- 5 warehouses
- 10,000 products
- 10 team members
Every plan is free during early access.
In practice: keeping branches organised
Name warehouses after the branches and keep the central warehouse clearly separate. Anyone looking at per-warehouse stock on a product page should know which number belongs to which branch without thinking. Dividing warehouses into zones also makes it easier to find a product's shelf in larger branches.
Always record moves between branches as transfers. Stock only moves when a transfer is marked delivered, so items on the road are never counted twice, and a transfer cancelled before delivery doesn't change stock.
Use alerts and branch stock together. Stock alerts follow a product's total stock across all warehouses and tell you when to reorder; imbalances between branches show in the per-warehouse stock on the product page. Checking branch stock for best sellers once a week gets transfers moving before shelves empty.
Give branch staff roles that fit their jobs, such as warehouse manager or sales representative. With stock adjustments requiring approval, count differences don't reach the stock before a manager sees them, and who asked for each change stays on record.
Frequently asked questions
Should I set up my shop floor as a warehouse too?
Yes. StokTakip keeps stock per warehouse; setting up each branch as a warehouse shows its products separately. You can also divide a warehouse into zones such as shelves or sections.
How do I record sales at the till?
Record them as a sales order with that branch's warehouse selected; stock leaves that branch. StokTakip isn't point-of-sale (POS) software and doesn't connect to tills.
Which branch shows the stock while a transfer is on the road?
Until it's delivered, items stay in the sending branch's stock; once marked delivered they move to the receiving branch.
Are stock alerts per branch?
No. Alerts follow a product's total stock across all warehouses. To see a product running low at one branch, check per-warehouse stock on the product page.
Do branch staff only see their own branch?
No. Permissions are granted by type of action (products, stock, orders, reports); there's currently no per-branch visibility limit. Requiring approval for critical actions keeps things under control.
How do I record differences found at a stock count?
Make a stock adjustment in the relevant warehouse for each product with a difference. Stock adjustment requires approval; adjustments by staff whose permission needs approval are applied once a manager approves them.
